Technical Diving
What is Technical Diving
Technical diving (also referred to as tech diving or tec diving) is scuba diving that exceeds the normal scuba agency-specified limits of recreational diving for non-professional purposes.
Technical diving may expose the diver to hazards beyond those normally associated with recreational diving and to greater risk of serious injury or death.
The risk may be reduced by appropriate skills, knowledge and experience, and by using suitable equipment and procedures.
The skills may be developed through appropriate specialised training and experience.
The equipment often involves breathing gases other than air or standard nitrox mixtures, (Trimix) and from multiple gas sources.

Entry Level Technical Programs
Recreational divers (Any Agency) may have two x2 paths to take ITDA Technical Level 1 diver training.
1. Be a Certified Advanced Diver with 30+ Dives Experience and a minimum of x3 Specialist Certifications of which 2 Must include; Nitrox Diver and Deep Diver.
2. Be an ITDA Advanced Scuba Diver. ITDA Entry Level programs include:
