It is with great sadness and deep regret that we inform ITDA Members, friends, and families that our training partner in the Philippines Don Carr has passed away, we believe it was NOT a diving related accident.

We will make a full post on the ITDA Philippines page in addition to updating Facebook, twitter (X) and our linkedin pages.

Our thoughts currently are with his family and friends who are mourning a great loss… Pictured here... From Don's facebook page... His was so proud on his family!

Diving in the Philippines

Marine Life

Philippines flag

The Philippines is a premier destination for training technical divers. The waters are teeming with vibrant marine life, great reefs and amazing visibility. Divers can explore the depths of the many shipwrecks scattered along the coast, or experience the thrill of drift diving in the rich currents.

Deep dives offer an opportunity to encounter a variety of rare species of fish and corals.

World Class Diving!

The warm, crystal clear waters make the Philippines an ideal destination for divers looking to test their skills in a safe and beautiful environment. And to challenge technical divers.

About Diving in the Philippines

With more than 7,000 islands and around 22,500 miles of coastline, it’s little surprise that the Philippines boasts nearly as many dive sites as former first lady Imelda Marcos had shoes!

Underwater, divers are welcomed by a staggering array of variety, both in the type of dive sites and the abundance of marine life.
